INTRODUCTION

Itimeir symbolizes the destructive effect of living in a corrupted society. The showcase of how a person can get so deeply broken in the roots by the whole group - not a particular person - and how far it can go. His social issues and trauma mixed with sexual themes made Itimeir into a person who yearns and craves the respect of others and will sacrifice everything - his morals, dignity, his own thoughts to be liked and given (appreciative) attention.

In the whole story, the god shows a big part of his present life and overall - his own self to the public, almost desperately wanting demons to „lurk in and get interested by what he has to offer at least for a bit”. It’s like as if someone opened a shop, but others would take offerings without paying and leave - but in this world, it’s Itimeir who is the shop & products are part of his soul that he wants to “sell” to anyone who would give his broken mind a bit of addicting attention and dopamine.

Itimeir gets to the point of sexualizing himself and being like an open book, craving for validation and likeness. Wanting others to want him, letting everyone to share him. Being an object someone would maybe like a little bit.

During Itimeir’s life, it seems like his fate was to be misunderstood and taken advantage of ever since he was placed on such a serious title of a king at a young age. Even on Earth, the gods story and life was turned all around, seemingly making everyone know every part of his life better than him.

Even in Kasad, Itimeir didn't have the smallest chance to ever show his real self, what he is capable of and how good of a king he could be, so he became what others expected and wanted him to be. He rejects his true self, because others think “it’s not how it is”. It’s like a copying mechanism and never ending feeling of shame.
