Irmes - Paint Tool Sai test

Some time ago I started using Paint Tool SAI again.. The first version. TBH I just hate how Clip Paint Studio looks and makes me feel... I am this type of stupid person to have the comfort of a "nice" looking program to feel the enjoyment from the art. Yes I am pretty dumb, but for some reason PTS just has this capability of making a white interface look so.. clean. CPS doesn't and is cluttered with so many shit options that when You work with so much layers, despite making groups and naming them, they all just blend together... But PTS handles this perfectly somehow.

I guess I started making sketches or just starting some drawings in SAI for the nostalgia, but also - somehow the brush dynamics and how its it works makes the basic brushes so.. satisfying to use. Like You don't need anything more! And You don't - Paint Tool SAI is like remembering to appreciate what we have and work with it in the best way possible. For a moment I was sad about the liquify tool, but then I thought like.. "but somehow for these 8 years before it being introduced to CPS You never needed such a tool." and everyone lived - we just learnt to see our own mistakes and draw it all again, the traditional way. And at the end of the day... It's not something that I'd die without. Ofc sometimes I had moments like.. Eh I wish I had it, but then I forgot about that thought completely after I manually fixed the mistake.

It's a pure bliss to come back to minimalism, even in digital art.
